Using Type with Couples
Using Type with Couples includes a chapter on who marries whom by type preference, a strengths and weaknesses self-assessment for the couple, and over 60 type-based exercises to improve communications, intimacy, and problem-solving.
The who marries whom by type summarizes over 2,600 marriages where both partners knew their type preferences. The strengths and weaknesses self-assessment forms are set up to allow a couple with any pair of type preferences to be able to identify the areas that they are likely to work well together and where there are opportunities to grow. These self-assessment forms are provided in reproducable form so you will be able to copy the forms you need for each client pair. The self-assessment process leads directly into suggestions for exercises for the couple to use to prepare themselves to deal with their probable weaknesses as a couple.
