The eight psychological type preferences (Extraversion, Introversion, Sensing, Intuition, Thinking, Feeling, Judging and Perceiving) are each comprised of five "subscales" or Facets. After the definition of each of the five facets for a preference, a self-assessment is provided so the reader can determine how skillfully they currently can use the mental skills associated with the five facets. Activities provided for the reader to use to focus future self-development efforts on that psychological preference.
